I can't speak on behalf of why it is asking for an additional $54.47 for tax. From what the Swappa staff post about taxes, the amount is specific to each individual state. Which is expected, as sales taxes is added to products purchased. The buyer fee is 3% of the price. Please note, this is a factory sealed iPhone 14 Pro Max 256GB. Most of the other phones listed in this category are not factory sealed, 100% battery life, etc.
