*LQQK* 16GB RAM / 2TB Storage via Expandmacmini.com

I am selling my mint condition M4 mac mini base model. The base includes 16GB of RAM. The mac mini has also been expanded to 2 TB of storage via the expandmacmini.com expansion module (see screenshot). The unit is currently running 15.4, factory reset, and ready for a new owner. Also included is the original box, manuals, and power cable. Any questions let me know. Thanks!

Apple’s storage controller is on the chip… there’s no way to install a generic NVMe drive… i don’t understand these specs as listed

There are 3rd party sellers now selling storage expansions for the new Mac Mini. I purchased the expansion and added to this Mac Mini M4 base model. That is why unit will have 2TB of storage space. The 3rd party I used was expandmacmini.com - https://expandmacmini.com/product/ssd-m4-2tb/

Thanks!

You avoided my question. How did they get around Apple’s controller issue? Many have reported lots of issues trying to install third party drives. They fail.

I did not develop the drive...that is something Expandmacmini.com figured out. I would recommend reaching out to them if you want specifics on how they reverse engineered Apple's drive.
