Hi! I'm interested in the phone but have some question that I'm hoping you can answer:

What version of Android does this run?
Were you able to update it here in the States?
Does Android Auto work normally on it?
Is there eSIM support? (I see it says no most places but I find it crazy that the 13 Ultra had it and they took it off?!)
Do you have a screen protector on it and was it always on it (my OCD kicks in whenever I see a scratch on a phone screen)?

Yes this is the official global version (not the Chinese version). Android Auto worked perfectly for me for example.

I got buried at work and just now coming up for air. 1) Shipped with HyperOS based on Android 14; upgraded to HyperOS 2.1 based on Android 15 2) Yes on updates in the States 3) Yes Android Auto worked perfectly on it (this is the official global version where Android Auto works; on the Chinese version it does not 4) No eSim support; I had dual physical SIMs - one from T-Mobile and another from Claro for when I travel to South America, both worked fine 5) It came with a screen protector pre-installed, but I did not like the way it felt, so I took it off almost immediately. To me, it feels much better to the touch without it, but I understand the point about microscratches. I believe there is one small blemish in the bottom right corner of the screen, but I cannot see it at all with the screen on and have to look for it with the screen off.

I never used that functionality (I’m old school 🤦🏻‍♂️) so I can’t speak to it from personal experience, but according to Gemini: “Yes, Google Wallet (formerly Google Pay) should work with the global version of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, as it's a standard Android device with NFC capabilities.”

The new version of this exact phone (global, black) is currently listed new on Amazon at $1,195, with the camera kit listed new at $130-185 (eBay).

I believe the price that I provided for this overall package (less than 50% of the new price for phone and camera kit that still work like new) is fair and reasonable.
