Some VERY minor "scuffs" on case: a result of being carried on a carry on bag on a trip. They were never used. Total time on a "head" and listened to is less than 30 minutes total.

AirPods Max - Pink, mint condition
Essentially brand new item. Bought for wife as a gift, she tried them twice for about 10 minutes total. Isn't into headphones and they've been in a box in the closet for a couple of years.
