Just wanted to ask, how does a carrier lock actually works.
Like is it locked for a certain period, or is it locked for good. And if yes, why exactly?
I'm new here in the States and needed to buy a get a phone so still checking my options
Carrier locked means you can only use it/activate for that carrier for this phone it’s T-Mobile so you could only use it for that company but after a certain time passed you could ask them to unlock it for you and you could use it at any carrier you want
