Interested in this camera. Can you tell me what the shutter count is?
I am also interested in the camera.
Take picture, post the JPEG and we can check the shutter count.
Hi you guys . Ive always snuggled getting the shutter count to people . How do I go about getting this information to you ?
Hi Robert ! What is a JPEG and where can it be found inside the camera ?
Are you the original owner? How much usage has it gotten?
To check the shutter count on a Nikon camera, follow these methods:
Method 1: Using EXIF Data
1. Take a Photo – Capture a JPEG image (not RAW) using your Nikon camera.
2. Transfer the Image to Your Computer – Move the photo to your PC or Mac.
3. Use an EXIF Viewer Tool – The shutter count is stored in the EXIF metadata of the image. Use one of these tools to check it:
• ShutterCounter (Online)
• ExifTool (Windows, Mac, Linux)
• Opanda IExif (Windows)
• CameraShutterCount (Online)
4. Locate the Shutter Count – Look for “Shutter Count” or “Image Number” in the metadata.
As another interested party noted, take a picture and upload the file to
www.camerashuttercount.com,
use a computer with internet connection.
Should tell you camera type and shutter count.
