It is not under warranty. Apple care just expired on March 15th and I didn’t renew it since I no longer need it.

How can I show you this on a laptop that is still in it's initial set up state?
You can't. But since this is important to anyone purchasing a used MacBook Pro for close to a thousand dollars, it might be worth going through the setup procedure again, taking a screenshot or photo of the battery health percentage and cycle count, then putting it back into initial setup.
I've done the same thing as you, Chris, forgetting to take a screenshot of that info. Going through the setup again isn't a big deal. Having the battery info will definitely help you sell the laptop.
