no lines or dots on the screen. have not had any issues with the battery, though to be honest it is almost always plugged in. Below Cycle count after it says "Condition" it does say service recommended. But I am not sure what that means. If I unplug it and use it, it does seem to be working just fine. Hope this info helps.
I have been running a little experiment on the battery. for the last hour, I have been running a photo slideshow. The battery has slowly crept down to 32%. So, it does not seem to have great longevity. As I said, we've mostly had it plugged in during use. Hope this info helps. Thanks.
