Metropcs unlock policy is 180day
I called an confirmed it
So if it still active on a account then you should be able to unlock the device

I’m interested but are you willing to go any lower as you can get the unlocked model from best buy for around 230 with a trade in

I believe 180 days was the old policy. According to their website they will not allow you to unlock the device until 365 days after plan activation. I will drop the price but please be fully informed before you place the order, as return is not accepted for the reason that you fail to unlock it now.
