is there something wrong with the battery

Battery is working just fine and holds it's charge very well. The top USB-C port would need to be replaced if you wanted to use it for charging.

The bottom USB-C port functions properly.

Throughout my use with it, I have always kept the battery settings at "Maximum Lifespan Mode" which will cap the charge at 60% to maintain battery longetivity.
