Hey, what is the battery health on this?
Not sure how to answer that as I've seen a few different methods used. Tell me how you'd like me to test it and I'll let you know!
I found this test of battery life: https://www.dxomark.com/sony-xperia-5-iv-battery-test/)
But again, there no "battery health" built into the phone. My experience has been very good...
I've used the AccuBattery app before, but it requires itself to run in the background for several charging cycles before it can start giving an accurate read. In any case, I just figured I'd throw the question out there in case you already had an idea, it's not a big deal.
If you have a sincere interest I'll download and run it, though it's not my daily driver today so I'd just let it run! LMK
Can you do $350?
I'd do $400?!
Hi Chipk, I'm interested. I'd appreciate if you'd be willing to run the Accubattery app.
Also, any chance you'd be interested in trading for a Nothing Phone 2? I love the phone but miss having a smaller one.
Also, I might be visiting family at the end of the month in the Chicago area. If you're willing to wait, could save on shipping/ fees.
Thanks,
Matt
Matt, downloaded and running it. Says it'll need a few days, as this isn't my daily driver, I'll just let her sit if that sounds ok and let it discharge...
Great, I think it just needs a discharge from full battery
NP, started it about 9 last night.
I'm with you on wanting a smaller phone, can't fit most of them in my front pocket!
Matt, as the Xperia sits on my desk, we're at 36 hours right now, battery is at 88%, it's going to be a few more days before she gets down to 10-15% at which point I'll recharge...
Can you punch the IMEI into this US Cell page and let me know if it's supported?
Thanks, let me know :)
Kirk, what zip am I entering?!
04240 please, thank you.
Kirk, it said it is not compatible. I have only used it on VZW & T-mobile personally.
Shoot! Well thank you for checking.
Sorry to be a pain, but did you check the IEMI of the SIM or the eSIM? Most eSIMS work universally now.
You can find your eSIM IMEI by dialing *#06# on the keypad, or in the settings of your device. This may be called IMEI 2 or digital SIM on some devices.
Please note that sellers should not share IMEI information nor are buyers permitted to ask for it. This FAQ page explains why: http://swappa.com/faq/sell/share-esn-numbers
Sorry if that came across unclear. I am not asking for the IMEI, just requesting the seller punch it into a website to make sure its compatible with my provider.
Kirk, I punched in the IMEI of the phone, it does not currently have a sim in it! I would think the IMEI check is their way of checking what bands the phone supports and, when it has a US Cellular sim in it (P-Sim or E-Sim) will it work.
How long was the phone actively used for? Depending on that length of time, I'd be willing to purchase for $420 right now without seeing the battery test.
Does the device overheat?
Not sure if it has a total operating time, but I only used it s few months, it's super clean. I've never had an overheating issue!
