500?
Good morning, I’m sorry but I can’t go that low.
525?
Hi, in the image with the blank screen, there is a light colored mark about 1/3 up from the bottom. Is this a mark on the screen?
Thanks!
Hello, that was just a piece of dirt that made its way on to the screen. I uploaded another picture of the screen to confirm this. Thanks!
@Quang, my apologies but the price is firm.
Thanks for the info and updated image!
No problem. Please reach out if you have any additional questions. Thanks!
540 and i can buy now.
Hello @Syed,
Thank you for your interest, and for the offer, but the asking price is firm.
Ben, I'm trying to assess how the battery life is. Did you use it (leave it) mostly plugged in? How long can it operate without a charge? (I know you included battery cycles, but I'm looking for a more direct measure.)
Hi Rob,
I had it plugged into a Surface Docking Station 95% of the time. In my networking lab, I rotate Surface laptops based on what I'm testing so the low cycle count is also attributed to it not being used frequently.
I had used it for 3 hours last year when I gave up my computer lab to my Wife who turned it into a guest bedroom. There was still 25% of charge left in the battery. I do want to add that I had the power mode turned on which preserves the battery health by only charging to 80% of total capacity. I hope my long winded response answered your question. :) Please reach out if you have any additional questions or need clarification on my response. Thanks!
I also wanted to add that during that time when I had it running on battery, my usage was focused on checking email and some web logs. I was not running any highly intensive apps or playing video games (The Surface is not built for gaming).
