It is easy. Click on the Apple Icon top left of screen. Click system preferences. Click on battery icon. On the left click on the battery icon below usage history. On the bottom Battery Health pops up, click on it. On the center of the screen will be Maximum Capacity as a percentage that is the number I would like to know. Thank you.
So I followed those steps with different results. But I did get a battery menu that says Battery Health: Normal
@Seth when I click the Apple the first option I get says System Settings not Preferences by the way. Slight difference for example.
