Hi Susan, the device was purchased on 01/31/24, just a little over six weeks ago. I liked it so much i have since upgraded.
The battery function does not work as it does with an iPhone; it doesn't show the battery health/capacity, it shows only which apps are using battery power and when. I have read an iPhone battery is rated to maintain 80% capacity after 500 full charging cycles, while an iPad is rated at 1,000 charging cycles.
