***Device is "mint" as you can see in the photo's. Unsure what the issue was listing it that way, especially when I see similar listings with devices that post as "mint" but don't look "mint" lol***

Hi Dr Je,

Can you confirm the warranty end date and battery capacity? Also what is the lowest you’re willing to accept?

K11r4Nh,

Samsung provides a Standard Limited Warranty. This device was manufactured 11/22/2023(date shown on original box in listing photos); received and activated on 12/4/2023. The device was seldom used until ~ 2nd week of February 2024. There is no official way to verify (remaining) battery capacity. The device is not in use and I don't trust information from a third party 'battery' app. I find information from said apps to be insignificant as battery stamina is relative (and subjective); both Battery Information (in device settings) and Battery Status in Samsung Members app only show the device capacity level i.e. Capacity:4500 mAh (typical) with Samsung Members showing one additional vague section "Life:Good". This device is essentially like-new/new.

Samsung.com/us/support/warranty/#Warranty_Checker
The warranty period commences upon the date of delivery to the original consumer purchaser or, in the case of a device, upon the date of initial set-up and activation (whichever occurs first) and continuing for the following specified period of time after that date:
Warranty labor period
Your product has a Twelve (12) month labor period

Warranty parts period
Your product has a Twelve (12) month part coverage

Hi,

Thanks for the explanation! Why are you seeking? I see you listed as good but meant it to be mint. Just to confirm there is no problem with the device?

Dr. Jé Seller

Correct, no issues.

Good afternoon Dr. Je,

Hope you’re having a good weekend!

What accessories are you including with the phone?

Would you be willing to do $525 list price?

- Apr 08, 2024 - 04:12 PM

Good evening Dr. Je,

If you can do $560 list price, I’ll buy immediately. Let me know.

That might have worked 1:1. Swappa & PayPal want a cut plus shipping costs. Swappa didn't use to charge sales tax, the fees were better, and we could edit the price down to the cent. Swappa seems more geared nowadays for Enterprisee/Wholesalers/Businesses which in essence takes away what Swappa used to be.

I hear you!

Why are you selling? Will you include purchase receipt shipping with the phone?

K11r4Nh,

The listing addresses your "Why are you selling?" inquiry:

"Selling additional spare devices I won’t be using, was bought in December 2023".

The device manufacture date is also shown in the listing photos on the original box (Nov 2023) which addresses the 'limited' warranty.

I do have my (personal) documentation from the order (e-mail/invoice/packing slip), no one has ever asked for this in my Swappa selling history because most don't(and won't) need it lol; it would have limited value for both me and anyone else for that matter. My personal info is on there so I would redact that for obvious reasons if I did decide to send it with the device. That being said however, from what I read the invoice has a limited value & would only be relevant to the original buyer as the (limited) warranty is going to follow the IMEI date of manufacture which in this case is 11/2023. This isn't a foldable display device, so the (limited) warranty is really insignificant for most consumers as any device issues would likely be from their own cause making the (limited) warranty irrelevant*.

Respectfully, there is enough data within the listing to make an informed decision on whether this reasonably priced listing fits your specific purchasing needs;if so, by all means I'd be happy to ship it out to you today, depending on when you buy; if not, there are several other listings that fall into your price range. I miss what Swappa used to be...

*In my anecdotal experience in over 27 plus years of using a cellular device, I only used the manufacturer warranty once through my carrier for my Note 4 when I got caught in the rain and paid I think $5 or $20 for a refurb. There are third party companies like renter/homeowner insurances or private cellphone insurance companies if someone feels they want to pay for phone insurance.
