Fred, I had a similar situation with mine. I believe you need to get in contact with Boost and they have to comply by unlocking your phone because I'm pretty sure it's paid off.

I purchased it online and was told it would work on T-Mobile (Sprint). T-Mobile it's carrier locked to Boost/Dish and will not work on T-Mobile even though if you run the IMEI on T-Mobile's website for BYOD, it says it will work.

My payout is about $700.

Do you know if it was paid off on Boost?

I plan on just using it on Boost, but want to make sure it does not get blacklisted.

I do not have Boost. I'm on t-mobile and was unable to activate on t-mobile. It is carrier locked to Sprint MVNO and t-mobile tells me it is Boost/Dish.

If I buy, I would return it if it was not able to be activated on boost.

I'm not sure how it would get flagged. When I look up the IMEI, it is ok except it is carrier locked which is frustrating since I can't activate it on Tmobile.

I'll raise the price back up and visit a Boost store to confirm it can be added. If no problem, I'm raising the price back up.
