I’d ask Apple that question, it was ordered from Apple with these configs. There’s nothing custom here. If you’re referring to the “HD” part of it, I think that’s what Apple calls it where the OS is, that’s just a name. Could you be confusing the name of HD with HDD?

Yes see here.

> Macintosh HD has long been the default name for the internal hard drive or solid-state drive on Mac models.

Hi,
Like the 2tb one, there is much less than the 1tb available.
Since it is priced similarly to the 2tb one, would you accept less for this one?
Thanks,
Dov

Hi Dov -- I think you are misunderstanding.

The available storage in the screenshots are simply to show the overall size of the disk. All of the "used" storage will be cleared up before it's sent out. What you're seeing is just what I am using.

So the 1TB vs. 2TB is the size of the disk. I have brought the price down $50 on this already, and brought the other down $100, so I think I will stick with the current pricing.

Hi Steven (Great name by the way!)

I have a few questions about this MacBook:

1. Just double checking, are there any scratches or damage on the screen?

2. Do the ports (charging, USB, etc.) still hold cords well? Are any connections loose when plugged in?

3. Can you completely wipe the hard drive before shipping so it's as if it was being setup as a new laptop? Or how do you prefer to go about this process? - Just want to make sure no files get left behind from the previous owner.

Thank you!

Hey Steven,

1. No issues with the screen at all
2. No issues with the ports either
3. Of course, I always “Erase all content and settings” and remove “Find My” beforehand.

Just sold my wife’s 2TB model, this one was mine, it’s always been kept with care and has the protective wrap on it as well. feel free to shoot any more questions you have :)
