Damage Description
there's basically no signs of wear on the phone itself because of a very thin protective layer that was applied. just marking as "good" and not "mint" in case my eyes are deceiving me. the plastic protective layer looks to be peeling a tiny bit, as pictured. phone case shows signs of wear.

It was a corporate phone that's been sitting in a desk for over a year, given as a gift for my kids to use for games, but we just don't like the Samsung interface compared to what we're used to. Phone has very little signs of wear, if any at all. comes with a nice case as well. looks like is has an invisishield product on it - wrapped in protective plastic. I factory restored it and it seems to be working great. Being I'm a recent owner, I cannot speak to the phone's performance or guarantee anything about it. Please understand that this phone is locked to AT&T, and cannot be unlocked.

Unlocked for any carrier??
Hey! Sorry I genuinely don't know for sure, but I expect it to be locked to AT&T based on logo when the phone starts up. I'm not sure if that's something that's easily fixed by calling them, or not, or by taking it to an AT&T store.
Thanks for your prompt response. A phone can be unlocked for any carrier even if it shows the company logo when you turn it on, in fact it always will. An easy way to know is to use a SIM from another carrier different to AT&T and if it works then it is unlocked.

Hi, oh okay that makes sense. Yeah I don't have any history on this phone, but I labeled it as locked for AT&T and will update the description so that anyone interested knows this well before deciding to purchase. Thanks!

Hey, I didn't have another SIM to use, but I reached out to AT&T and confirmed it is locked. I've updated the listing so everyone knows it's definitely an AT&T phone. I also confirmed it cannot be unlocked because it doesn't meet their criteria, but it CAN be used with anyone's AT&T service, if that's who they use.
For anyone else looking at the phone: I've dropped the price as low as I can do, when factoring fees, shipping, etc. thanks for consideration, and feel free to ask additional questions
