***IMPORTANT***
Computer has one issue, that affects Lenovo Y540's. I have tried to fix it, but all I can come up with is a work around.

The Issue:
If the computer is plugged into power when restarted or shutdown, the keyboard will not initialize/will not work. This is a known issue see link below.

Work around:
Turn off fast boot (IMPORTANT).

Then make sure when the computer does a restart that the power adapter is not connected. If keyboard does not initialize then shut down computer without power adapter plugged in. Then restart the computer without the power adapter plugged in. This works 99% of the time.

Sorry that is way too little. The issue does not affect everyday use. All models of this 540y have this issue. I am just disclosing it.

A parts only, non working version of this laptop sold for 350 with shipping a couple month ago on eBay. If you would like to offer higher I will consider it.
