Verizon’s policy is to automatically unlock phones 60 days after either the date of purchase or date of activation on their network, depending on the type of cell plan the original purchaser has.

• Has this phone ever been activated on Verizon’s network?

• Is there any reason why this phone will not automatically unlock 60 days after it is activated?

I verified from the original owner that it was good to go, also I am not sure in the exact date although given the phone just released maybe not too long. For now, only Verizon.
