Thanks, but no that's too low for this configuration.

Hey, would you go $2175 today? I'm loving this spec and the low battery cycles on it!

Hi Andy, thanks for the offer. I'll do some Black Friday fun, it's reduced for 24 hours.

Are you sure Applecare+ is enrolled in this or is it Applecare? If former, can it be extended next year onwards, if desired?

- Nov 19, 2023 - 10:37 AM

It's not enrolled on it, it looks like it's the limited warranty. I just got done talking with Apple Support and they said they cannot put it onto a machine after the 60 days is up, or else I would be jumping at this immediately.

As it is, I need to think about it!

It is AppleCare+ without any question. See the screenshot I've uploaded of the proof of coverage email from Apple when it was purchased.

FYI...you can go to https://checkcoverage.apple.com/coverage and enter the serial number to verify AppleCare+.

Just spoke to CS and they advised “ Monthly/Annual Coverage cannot be Transferred to new owners but 3- yr/ Fully paid-off can be”.i had a feeling that this might be the case so I called.
Please clarify and check if otherwise.. I will hold -off for now .

“If you pay monthly or annually
If you make monthly or annual payments* for your AppleCare plan, and your plan is already linked to an Apple ID, then it can't be transferred to a new owner. * In some countries and regions, you might have the option to pay monthly or annually for your” AppleCare plan.Sep 18, 2023

The coverage is linked to the serial number not the original owner. As stated in the description, AppleCare+ coverage is effective until 04/21/2024. Renewal of the subscription is likely what CS is referring to, but that doesn't change the current coverage. Keep in mind if I'd paid the $279 for the three year plan I'd just add the extra cost to the price and wouldn't have lowered it to move the laptop.

I understand if you don't want to buy it with only five months AppleCare+ remaining. Do what you are comfortable with, and if it's not this laptop I hope you will find one that works for you at a price you find acceptable.

Best regards,

HL

Hi Henry, just was wondering if you’d be willing to take 2000$ for the laptop?

One just sold for 2086$ and was hoping you can get somewhere in that range. Thanks

Hi Martin, can't go to $2K, but I took $295 off the price for today only. It's 20% off the refurb price from Apple. If ordered before 1pm EST I can ship today.
