Cricket IS an AT&T NVMO. There is no reason this phone won't work. I obviously haven't tried it.

I called AT&T and got the carrier unlock code and applied it. It is no longer locked to AT&T.
I've called AT&T, received the carrier unlock code, applied the code, and verified that the phone will now work with any AT&T NVMO. I also took the time to fully charge the battery. Check for compatibility on each carrier's website by selecting "bring your own device" and searching for the Galaxy S9 SM-G960U. The following carriers should be compatible:
