I used it myself off and on for like 6 months and it worked flawlessly, but the battery was at 100% when I got it and I don't know it's history before that. Anyway, I'm sure the battery had to have been swapped, but at least this is on iOS version that doesn't constantly pester you with "not original Apple battery" warning.
