Open-box items are considered to be in a mint or like-new condition as they are generally returns from retail shoppers who've had a change of heart about their recent purchases or, much more rarely, were store display units and thus typically only very lightly handled with little if any use at all. However, many stores will often just reseal everything and present for sale as new again -- but people don’t always return everything like they should (manuals, boxes, cables, etc.) which is why we are able to offer substantial savings on open-box merchandise (there's a "What's Included" section of our listing detailing exactly what's included with a purchase).
