I am a novice to Swappa and it is a bit confusing. I changed the "ask price" to $625 which results in me receiving $606. It also has a "listing price" which is $643 (which seems to be defined by the "ask price" + buyer's fee to Swappa of $18.75. When you offer $625, I assume it does not include the $18.75 which each of us has to pay Swappa, by the way. Your comments?

The price on the listing page is the Ask Price plus the 3% buyer fee. This is added automatically on the public listing page so buyers are not caught off guard when they go to purchase. When a price is negotiated, it's this total price, not the Ask Price, that's being agreed upon.

I just reached out to help desk as well. It should be unlocked- can you try again?

The helpdesk says that we should have a range the time and place for you to click by the moment I change the price. However, I think that is not relevant because I change the price already and if you click by now, it should work according to them.

How do I find out if funds are in my pay pal account? Once I am alerted, is that when I send the phone (by UPS or mail - insured - right?).

It doesn’t let me purchase because it says the listing is locked. I am still getting the same error.

Thalia G., are there any other errors that you are encountering other than the "Buy Lock" message?

The error messages alternate between the "buy lock" and "Payee account is locked or closed".

I found out that my PayPal account was deactivated and apparently they will reactivate it on Monday (they are closed until then). I will accept the offer from the buyer as soon as the account is activated (hopefully first thing Monday morning) and mail or UPS the phone Monday. If it does not sell on Monday, I* will just take it to Los Angeles (where I am going on Tuesday) and mail it from there.
