Does this have the global or Chinese ROM?

Where did you hear of a so-called Global Rom?

Read my description thoroughly. I state this device comes with the Factory China Rom Push. It must be Bootloader unlocked to switch to English as this device is. On this Rom you enter a legit Google account then download YouTube, maps, chrome all of it

If you notice my @ I am a Developer at XDA since 2013 and I don't talk out of the side of neck. Which is to say I definitely know what I'm talking about

I know Lenovo China did not release a Global anything. Somebody took the China Push and stripped it to rip people off with the whole "Global" BS. It's sad but that's why you must do your due diligence on stuff like that

Sellers on Aliexpress and other sites are advertising a “global rom” for the Y700 tablets they’re selling. All I know from what they’re saying is that the “global rom” defaults the language to English, has the bootloader unlocked, Google Play already installed, but all at the cost of the Legion gaming app (Legion Realm) no longer working.

So from your comments I assume this is the original rom with Legion Realm?

To be clear first off I never looked for the legion realm software because I didn't use the tablet to play games It was basically for relaxing and watching videos. I've already reset the tablet for a new user so I couldn't tell you yes or no because then I wouldn't be honest but what I think you're missing is that that is simply and that's just an APK you're talking about there's no specificity to any kind of wrong you should be able to load that on any legion or any Android device. I would be searching for legion realm APK and you could probably put it on any Lenovo or Android device legion realm APK latest version

So Ive done my research. I purchased this Tablet from a AliExpress vendor via a XDA connection. and this is the "Global Rom" as everyone states. Apparently (of course) you /the vendor has Lenovo China unlock the bootloader and flash this Global rom. This rom is essentially the base factory rom without all the apk push loads per my "Road Dog over at XDA. This rom is a stripped version (No Bloatware Extras) It's **As Hella Basic as It Gets" The device has a forum channel there for sure there is quite a following for this device as it is the hottest tablet for gaming right now. With everything maxed out/ 12gb Ram and 256gb drive.

Please remember this is just a Rom I have worked with Hundreds and Hundreds of them from Samsung, LG, Sony, Google, ASUS, Simple, Motorola, and so on. Weather you want to add (any specific APK is up to you). You simply search for the latest version and install / push (adb)

PS...The Legion Realm APK is Downloadable from XDA. Look It Up. Iinks are NOT ALLOWED Here on Swappa so thats All I Got :)
