1) Is this replacement phone unlocked?
2)And is this replacement phone reconditioned or refurbished ?

I don't believe it's unlocked, but not sure how to tell.

Not that I know of reconditioned/refurbished. It's replaced by my insurance on the phone and they send me a new one, as far as I know.

If you need more information let me how I can check, happy to do so.

Pop in the sim onto the flip phone and dial 611 for Tmobile customer service and ask it to be unlocked if it isn't already, coz if it isn't, Tmobile won't unlock it , only for original owner...also i think this maynot be new, most replacement phones aren't., unless you got it in the original box sealed. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I didn't know that. It's out of the box with film on it, but that's not saying much I guess. It was in a delivery box from the insurance. I'm not a phone guru :)

No, not at all..phone should be fine....but from unknown history, just trying to confirm if it was new when u received it, but the last 2 phones I purchased are locked to tmobile and tmobile will not unlocked them coz it was bought from 3rd party., swappa, Tmobile stated the original owner which should be u ,they will only unlock for that person.. I just bought a new flip4 on here and tmobile won't unlock it, so I need to figure out how to unlock it coz I'm planning to use a different sim overseas.. or purchase another phone?...replacement phones are not new, I bought 1 on here, but was told it's new, should have known since the photo had it in tmobile box..

No worries. Just got off the line with T-Mobile. Yup, locked to T-Mobile. However, their policy is 40 Days with an active sim to unlock. So, yes T-Mobile Locked. However, I'm not adding another number to get it unlocked. Not sure of another way.

I'll adjust the price then, I was just selling since I really don't need this phone with my razr.

There's an unlock feature in the settings TMO walked me through, but again, they said, have the sim/esim/active for 40 days on the account and they'll unlock it, or allow it to be unlocked within the settings.

Settings -> Connections -> More Connection Settings -> Network Unlock -> Permantly Unlock.. that's available after 40 days and call TMO to complete if any issues.
