While there isn't a universal battery check tool integrated into Android phones, I found that I was able to assess the battery health via the Samsung Members app for my device. The app indicates a "normal" battery status and shows a capacity of 4400 mAh (typical) which is the maximum capacity for this phone model. I purchased this phone directly from the official Samsung website and had requested warranty service. Surprisingly, they sent me a brand-new phone! You can tell it's new because all the protective stickers around the phone are still intact. Based on the comments I received, it appears that some marks on my original device looked like damage incurred during repair attempts, so they decided to provide me with a new phone.
