I see your post but the mod scares me a little. What's involved in changing the joysticks? You manipulated the motherboard? Does this void any warranty?

The analog sticks aren’t actually soldered into the MB, they have their own board they are connected to and are just screwed into the steam decks plastic housing and then connected to the motherboard with a ribbon cable. The new analog sticks are an exact replica except with much better tech to keep it true 0 avoiding any dead zones. Many people have done this mod because the steam deck pretty much used the same analog sticks that Nintendo switch used and they would always have phantom drift constantly. Not quite modding I guess since it’s not a hack or anything, it’s just replacing a part 1 for 1 with something much better. I read that warranty isn’t voided opening a steam deck. Feel free to look on YouTube at the process of what I did, it’s fairly straight forward and easy to do. Nothing to worry about, just improves the experience.

I added a photo to the listing of what the upgraded analog sticks look like so you know what I’m talking about. The old ones looked similar to this just with older technology and I pretty much just swapped them out with these. At the end of the day you’ll probably never have to send the steam deck in for any kind of analog stick drift for the life of the steam deck.

I dropped the price slightly. I cannot drop too much because this is a heavier item and will require more money to ship & insure. Will ship asap if you purchase today. My local UPS store will send out today as long as dropped of within the next 3 1/2 hours.
