Damage Description
No visible scratches on any surface or display with the exception of some minor, very shallow scratching on the bottom and a tiny dent on the bottom, I tried to capture this in the pictures circled in red. Minor scuffs on bottom and lid, too faint to capture in pictures. Display has minor scuffing too faint to catch with camera, completely invisible once the screen is turned on. No dead pixels, once screen is on it looks brand new. TB ports on the left side have some silvering where the finish wore away from plugging cables in, TB ports on the right are in good condition. Apple logo has some light swirling that was too faint to picture.

This was a beast when purchased with an i7 processor, 16 GB RAM, 4x Thunderbolt ports, and a 1 TB hard drive. It ran extremely well as long as I had it. It was only used sparingly as I was an adviser on an iOS project, I mainly run a Windows PC so only used this for some light Xcode, app testing, and database management. Comes with original Apple power brick.

What’s the battery life like?
I didn't use it on battery much, but when I did I'd get about 4-5 hours out of it depending on what I was doing. When on power it was always in battery saver mode only charging to 80%.

Battery life is still less than half what Apple advertises: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201585 I get about 4-5 hours out of a full charge, of course that depends on what you are doing. Apple states at 1000 cycles you will still have 80% battery left.
