Hi Johnny, do you think you could come down to $1400? The keyboard is really the issue, although I'm pleased to see it works.

Hi Manzar - I thought it would be an issue but it's really not with Karabiner Element. You can extend the left shift button and it becomes more natural. I can go down to 1440 if that's ok?

Hey Johnny, I appreciate you working with me here. I'm very interested but I had not even noticed the left shift until you pointed it out. I was mainly considering the depreciated value if/when I would eventually sell it for an upgrade, as well as the inconvenience of having extra characters on the keys. Can you come down any more, if possible?

With 24GB of RAM and 512GB drive the value of this laptop is already very cheap with the keyboard type already considered. I've already dropped it to meet you half way at 1440, I am going to respectfully to ask you offer or buy it at 1440.

I understand you were not able to list your laptop as "Mint" condition, as per Swappa staff. Does your laptop have any physical signs of wear and tear?

I just looked at the laptop and there is a very very extremely small hairline scratch that's about as long as "--" those 2 dashes at the very bottom of the chassis. YOu cannot see it unless in the right lighting. The screen, keyboard, top and sides, are in perfect shape.

Interested. two questions, where was the machine bought/would Apple US service it in case of problems? 2) I see some wear on the right hand side of the spacebar (e.g. grease from fingers; I understand this vintge of Macs is prone to wear of the keyboard), can you confirm? can you post more photos of the keyboard with more light on it?

Uploaded more photos. I just didn't clean it before I uploaded the first photos that's why. this version of the mac isn't more prone to wear. Midnight blue is more prone to fingerprint showing but it's not bad, it's just more noticable than silver or gray, but the blue looks much better in my opinion.

Secondly I bought this on swappa brand new still sealed in plastic. The guy didn't advertise it being this keyboard but as i mentioned above, it's not a problem with karabiner elements. You should be able to service it in the US regardless of where it was bought.
