Yup! That's actually the exact reason I got it myself lol. I went straight to using Logic myself, but GarageBand is free and honestly it's pretty great software. Like you could literally create professional recordings with it
It was my first Mac, so the learning curve was definitely real for me coming from windows. But once I started getting used to it, it's so great. Like the magic mouse is ridiculous. Idk maybe I'm just weird but exploring a totally new way of computering was like walking into a spaceship. 11/10 highly recommend.
Ok awesome that’s good to hear! I actually bought logic but my laptop is so old and won’t even download logic so I’m getting this for now. Haha I’m sure it will take me some time to get used to it but definitely looking forward to learning. Was just worried if I should wait for the next model to come out but I think this should be perfect for the level I’m at. If you have any music out lmk where I can give it a listen. Also I can buy now just comment when the posting is updated and I’ll purchase
I'm pretty amateur but I did manage to record a pretty decent cover of highway to hell lol (https://youtu.be/X_wKeITBrs4) I did all the instruments and tracks on logic, it was like my first big project that I saw through start to finish and it made me feel incredible honestly
