For ATT you need to call ATT and tell them to provision your IMEI (set the IMEI of this phone onto your line).
Then you restart phone and you will have 5G.

See photos of the phone very carefully and you will see the ATT and Tmobile/Google Fi settings showing the 5G connection, and the band selection as 5G, and the apn settings for both.

For Tmobile and Google Fi sim cards you simply insert the sim and restart phone. For ATT, you need to call ATT from old phone, provision this new phone (IMEI) onto your line, put your sim into this new phone, restart and then you'll have 5G. If you dont want to do this with ATT then dont buy this phone.
