I'm curious about getting burnt on the freight forwarder situation. I'd like to buy as well but I use a freight forwarder for all my apple products.

Sorry for the delay. I've had 2 shipments to forwarders that made it to their final destination and the buyer claimed the item was damaged in transit and/or tried to dispute the arrival saying I didn't send in the condition I sent it in. In both cases, the items were in mint condition when I dropped them off at the carrier.

So I don't know if it's an international shipping issue where carriers are rougher with objects or if there are just more scammers out there these days, but I'm using the money from this device to pay off the new phone and I'd rather not wait a month for the forwarding shipment to arrive to know if I can do that safely or not.

Wow. I'd wager scammers. I understand if you'd rather not take the risk granted you can check my purchase history. I hope you check it and reconsider as I'm definitely purchasing a phone tomorrow.
