Just wanted to confirm… I erased my drive so all of my personal things are removed, and now I have the flashing? So when I ship it to you, you will be able to start up fresh. Is that correct? Just wanted to confirm. I haven’t done this before.

That’s a great question. I haven’t done this before either. Only worry I have is if the software (Catalina) will also get erased.

Do me a favor, after you have reset everything, could you confirm that the software Catalina is still active? Please take a picture and post it on here as well. According to Google, it can also delete the current software and I am not trying to upgrade to the BigSur as of yet.

No I am not sure. Because I am not sure, I am thinking I should take it to the Apple store tomorrow and ask a tech.

Hi… I just went to the Apple store but unfortunately I need to come back on Friday at 2:30 for an appointment. They assured me that they could re-install Catalina for me.

Hey Kara, Thank you so much for taking your time to do this. I really appreciate it. I am ready to purchase this once you are able to bring that price down to our agreement which was $400. You can bring it down for $410 for the inconvenience this caused. Could you please post a picture of the catalina software that is installed as well?

Hi Zain- the employee at the Apple store said it’s ready to continue the setup- I uploaded that pic. I didn’t continue because I was afraid it was going to ask me to set up as a new Mac- saving that step for you.
