• FRAME: 1 place, at the lower-left corner there is a scuff area consisting of around 8 small scratches in the same direction.
• FRONT: 2 very small scratches. 1 short noticeable scratch, in the upper-right area, as well as 1 short scratch near the scuff area of the frame.

How deep are the scratches on the top of the phone? How did it happen?
I don’t remember how the scratches happened. I believe they are relatively invisible when the display is in use. The scratches are very, very short, the 1 in the lower left corner should be very difficult to notice as most content is displayed near a screen’s center.
Gotcha. I want to buy it but 677 is a little high for me at the moment.

Are the scuffs deep?
I’ll be honest, I am a subscriber of monthly AppleCare+ on this device. The accidental cosmetic damage on the frame of the iPhone is something I could file a claim for. But the deductible would be $99 + $6.95 shipping + $7.68 sales tax = $113.63
The end result would be I have a BRAND NEW iPhone 12 mini 256GB directly from Apple.
I’ve debated whether or not that would be worth it. I honestly think these minor cosmetic defects aren’t that big of an issue. But if $202 off of the MSRP isn’t selling, should I go for the AppleCare+ device replacement?
Will spending $113.63 significantly increase it’s resale value?
For those of you wondering, monthly AppleCare+ is non-transferable to a new owner. And is impossible to be re-subscribed to once it has been canceled.
That's a good question. I have never dealt with Apple care in the past (mostly an Android user).
