45 days listing. any price flexibility ? now with the M1 macs hitting the outlet it is become a bit more difficult to justify a soon to be discontinued model.

btw, the similar but 64GB RAM model sold yesterday here for $2700

The one with 64GB sold without AppleCare and had a physical damage stated. This includes AppleCare for another 20 months and has no physical damages.

I would entertain going to $2920 flat with ground shipping.

Hey Chris, interested in this Mac- but as it stands the price is just too rich. With the M1 macs coming out now and the price drop of this model - now $3898 new (w/ Apple Care at Education Pricing) what would you consider a reasonable price? It's been almost 2 months of listing- is there any wiggle room left?

in the absence of an offer in your comment, my previous offer of $2920 is where I’d stand for now, which is nearly a thousand dollars off this machine that has been well taken care of.

I use apple’s refurbished as a guide for my pricing, which we also know doesn’t come with AppleCare.

Yes. This is a standard practice that I follow, immediately once the sale shows Complete on Swappa and the buyer states they are satisfied with the purchase, since it can only be done once.

I've looked over everything and checked comps and I feel comfortable making you an offer for $2700. If you're good with that, I'm ready to pull the trigger. I know it's a bit lower than what you're asking, but I think all considered it's a fair offer.

I would consider that a fair offer sans the AppleCare plan. I wouldn’t be able to do $2700, pay the Swappa fee with including AppleCare.

As it’s sitting, I would meet you half way between your offer and mine. That puts it at $2810.

If you are okay with this, I’ll move the price once you’ve confirmed.

Thanks Chris, I can appreciate that you see $2810 as fair, but I'm not seeing that price all things considered. I can up my offer to $2750 to cover the Swappa fee, but in all honesty the $2700 was at the top end of what I was seeing as fair market value based on my research.

Actually, upon further consideration- $2810 is fair. I checked my comps and with the Apple Care it's a reasonable price. A $60 difference isn't a big deal.

Does this machine have the butterfly keyboard or the magic keyboard? I'm finding conflicting info online about 2019 models.
