Microsoft Surface Laptop 2 (Gently Used!)

I have had this computer for a little bit but in that time period i have maybe used this laptop a short handful of times. It’s been sitting on the shelf since. Looks and works like new. Only issue was the original power cord does not seem to be functioning properly. No clue what happened. I bought a replacement on amazon. Works totally fine and charges with no problem. Ill include both chargers in the box but keep that in mind when purchasing please!

Daniel Seller

Nope. Nothing. At least nothing that I have seen or the photos show. I’ll change the price now!

Daniel Seller

Still interested?

- Feb 22, 2021 - 05:48 PM

Yes, still interested. Just weighing my options :)

Daniel Seller

okay. is there anything i can do to entice you further? would $600 help? ;)

- Feb 23, 2021 - 04:25 PM

600 would definitely help. If I can sell my macbook within the next couple of days to cover the 600, Ill purchase :)

Hi Daniel. Can you advise the battery cycle count? The easiest method is by the following info: Press Windows key + X, click Command Prompt (Admin), type powercfg /batteryreport at the command prompt then hit the Enter key. The report will be saved under C:\Windows\System32 as battery-report

- Mar 04, 2021 - 06:56 PM

Oh also can you advise if the original box is included?

Daniel Seller

Hey Tom,

The laptop is at my office. Can check cycle tomorrow but it has to be very very low. I rarely used it.

Original box will be included

- Mar 04, 2021 - 07:51 PM

Thanks, Daniel. Sounds good. I'll stand by.

Daniel Seller

so i knew it was low but I didn't think it was THIS low. Cycle count was 4 lol. Uploaded a picture for you to see.

- Mar 05, 2021 - 10:10 AM

Thanks Daniel. Would you be willing to go down to $600? If so, I’ll purchase immediately.

Daniel Seller
- Mar 05, 2021 - 10:31 AM

Sure. Changing the price now

- Mar 05, 2021 - 12:13 PM

Thanks, Daniel. One more question. I read through the listing again. Are we 100% sure the original charging block is faulty and not the connecting port on the Surface?

Daniel Seller
- Mar 05, 2021 - 12:48 PM

im pretty positive. I bought another charger off of Amazon and it works just fine.

- Mar 05, 2021 - 01:05 PM

Thanks, Daniel. Is the replacement charger from Amazon an actual Microsoft charger too and not a third-party one? I always worry about the third-party ones.

Daniel Seller
- Mar 05, 2021 - 01:21 PM

It is unfortunately a third party one thought it came recommended as pretty decent. At this price though, it can hold you over until you find another first party. Or maybe you can fix the original?

- Mar 05, 2021 - 01:52 PM

Thanks again for the info. With the original charger being faulty and the replacement charger being from a third-party, are you willing to bring the total cost down a bit? I wasn't aware the replacement charger wasn't OEM. In looking on Amazon, a Microsoft-branded charger is $45 which I would need to buy if I went with your listing. Here's the Amazon link if that would help: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WQVP89Z/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_CN7NA807SRZ7FMF05XHZ

I apologize for the back and forth but this is for an out-of-state parent so once I ship it to them, my ability to support them for any subsequent issues will be limited. Hopefully, that makes sense.

I’ve already brought it down almost $100 since original listing. I understand the concern but it’s still an almost brand new laptop. I’m not sure why the charger doesn’t work but the replacement is just fine.

I need to stay at $600. After PayPal fees and everything I’m losing quite a bit more than I want. Hope you can still do $600

- Mar 05, 2021 - 02:21 PM

Totally understand. If I continued to purchase can you advise how quickly you could ship and by what service?

Daniel Seller
- Mar 05, 2021 - 02:39 PM

Yeah i can try to ship out tonight but if not definitely tomorrow via FedEx or UPS. Shouldn’t take longer than a few days
