Could you describe in detail the condition of the phone (scratches or wear on the screen, sides, back)

There is a very small scratch less than 1/4 inch wide near the top right of the screen that is barely visible when the phone is off (only if you shine light directly on it) and not visible when the phone is on unless you look really closely at it. The rest of the phone is in good condition with no visible wear or scratches. The device was always kept in a case. The phone never had any parts replaced.

Can this phone be used by any carrier internationally

This is a US unlocked version, it works with all major US carriers. For international carriers, you would need to verify that directly with your carrier of choice, the model number you can give them is SM-G960U1.

Another quick question, if you run your fingernail over the scratch, does your nail stop on the groove?
