My listings normally don't work that way, although I appreciate the offer!

The way I do my listings is to slowly reduce the price over time, until it hits a price that someone is willing to pay - that way I can fairly find the market value, and I always start with the current market rate I see on Swappa. I think it's a pretty good deal at 1299, but if it doesn't sell after a while, I will certainly drop it until it does.

I see that your 2016 MBP has been for sale since Nov, and based on your above comment, perhaps it's priced a bit higher than market value, even for a machine as nice as this one (per Swappa, the ave sale price in Nov '20 for the 1TB was $1015.) I don't know about other buyers, but I don't need the stand, so that isn't a value-add for me personally. If you are interested in finding a workable price, I'm ready to buy. I bought davincinoir's 2016 MBP for my wife for $825, (see below in the "Sold" listings) and now I want one for me :) Thanks for considering.

When they were servicing the keyboard, I believe they scratched the screen on accident, so they ended up replacing the screen while the keyboard was being replaced! So basically brand new.

The poor UX on Apple’s Touch Bar is out of the bag, no wonder they discontinued it. Don't wait too long to dump this unit.
