Listing approved. Thanks for using Swappa.

Im interested !

According to Swappa the average selling price for this phone is $467. What justifies its price being so much higher?

I would be willing to purchase this phone around a fairer price.

- Jul 18, 2020 - 03:55 PM

Well, for starters, you might have missed it, but this is the 512gb model. Also, there is nothing stopping you from purchasing those phones that are already listed at the price that you consider to be "fair." Thank you

- Jul 18, 2020 - 04:16 PM

Ok, I would just feel bad for the person who comes along and purchases something that is priced way unfairly.

You can verify this information on Swappa, as it is public, the average listing price for a 512gb S10 is $501 and the average price sold is $467. You listed it at $625, I understand it comes with the case but does that really justify the extra $124? It does not seem like you want to do business with me, as I would demand a fair price to start. However, please know, I did purchase an S10 from Swappa for my daughter, excellent-mint condition, at the price of $465.

Would you be willing to match that price or lower your asking price at all?

- Jul 18, 2020 - 04:40 PM

And who died and made you the judge of all that is "fair" or not? If Samsung sells the phone for 800, and my price is still far below that, then why is it that only the price that you are willing to pay is "fair" ? And why is it that another price that others are willing to pay is "unfair"? Because you said so? Again, who died and made you the judge of all that is is "fair" or not? Finally, I don't listen to demands, so please proceed to those listings that are already listed at a price that you like and therefore have defined as "fair." Thank you

Thank you, Heather, for mentioning this.

Mr. Wizard, I am only attempting to come to a price that I would consider fair to myself. In doing so, I am pointing out how far above the average price your product is and how I have purchased a phone in the past that is the same condition as yours for that average price. If you are not willing to reduce your price, then we cannot do business. Have a good day.

- Jul 18, 2020 - 05:41 PM

Well, I knew that all along: It's been all about what is "fair" for you. You see, you are judging "fairness" by what you are willing to pay. This means that everything that is at the price that you want to pay is "fair" and everything else that is not at the price that you are willing to pay is "unfair." But how in the world is that "fair" to everyone else who is willing and able to pay the price that you are not willing to pay? It really doesn't matter to you because it's never really been about what is seen as "fair" by others. It's all about what you see as "fair" for yourself. And to achieve that, you have to come in here under the pretense of being "fair" and feeling bad for others while attacking me as having an "unfair" price when the reality is different. Now you have a good day.

- Jul 18, 2020 - 07:16 PM

I am only judging it based on the average price on Swappa and yours is significantly higher than that average. I only asked why yours was priced much higher than the average because I wanted to know if there was something else included with it that would make your phone worth $124 more than the average "good" conditioned Galaxy S10. However, you seem to be very defensive with that fact, and I am unsure as to why. Nevertheless, I hope you find a buyer for your phone despite your irritability.

- Jul 18, 2020 - 09:04 PM

Well, do you even know what "average" means? Do you know that "average" means that all phones were not sold at that "average" price? This means that if you see an item at an "average" of $100 then all the items were not sold at $100. Some items could have been sold as high as $200 and some could have been sold as low as $25; therefore arriving at an average of $100. So, as if I've done something wrong, you have come in here attacking me and smearing me as "unfair" over an average that could have ranged anywhere from $100 to $1000, and then you sit back feigning innocence as if you have done nothing. If you wanted a phone at the average price then go pick from the phones that are at the "average" price. Simple as that. Don't come in here trying to smear sellers as unfair over something that may have a far-reaching range as an "average." Thank you
