The GPU was repaired. The way it was repaired is that now the button on the side to check the battery charge controls the brightness of the screen. There are some scratches on the top and bottom.

Can you explain the initial damage and why the repair had to change the battery check button to a brightness controller?
It’s because of the GPU going bad. The GPU is a very common issue with the 2011 model.
