Damage Description
Device sustained liquid damage after its first week of use (a year and a half ago), and was recently fully repaired by Apple. This included replacement of the display, main board, storage, and keyboard.
It has no physical damage or even wear & tear. Basically a brand new laptop.
All devices must be fully functional and meet our criteria for sale
Maxed out late 2018 15" MBP
Recently received back from Apple after service, and don't need it. Figured I should sell it while it's in perfect shape and spotless. Includes all accessories. Two cycles on the new battery. No AppleCare besides the 90-day repair warranty (began 06/13/2020).

What was the reasoning for waiting a year and a half before finally deciding to send the unit it for repair earlier this month? Have you done a thorough functionality test since receiving it back from the repair centre?
Hey James. I live in Pittsburgh and I’ll buy this off of you right now. Well it’s like 4am Tuesday morning but I’ll meet up with you anywhere today and buy it off of you for $1525 cash. Not sure how to get a hold of you personally but I’ll check the messages here when I wake up around 12 noon.

I wish I hadn’t waited to repair it Lawrence! In the end it cost as much to repair as I’ll get for it, but at least it’s getting used by someone. I did do a thorough test and as far as I can tell it’s a brand new laptop.

Crap. It's been so long since I've bought something from Swappa I forgot that you have to use PayPal. I have to drive to my bank in Crafton and transfer the money to my checking account to make the PayPal purchase. Pending the amount of customers sitting in the drive through I should still be able to meet you anywhere in the 12pm-1pm time period.
