Hey Dona! Can you please post the 5 minute battery test results for this one? Looks like this is only the 30 second test and it appears (and I surely could be wrong) the expected battery life between charges is 8.33 hrs. Here's the formula I used. ((100/0.20)*.5)/30=
The battery test is only an estimation, you cannot use formula to calculate the discharge rate as it varies depending what you are running like watching video or surfing the web. I upload the 5 minutes test then there is no difference
Oh yeah I already know it's an estimation because when you run the battery test it's based on light browsing and standby time of the average person. I'm not the average person but I do want to make sure that the battery is doing what it is supposed to do because some of the devices I've come across on this site even with running it in standby they're only lasting like 4 hours so though $500 is not a whole lot of money it's still a lot of money to throw in the trash you know what I mean?
I don't know where you could get this conclusion. i ran a Pixelbook ,with 79% battery health , playing Youtube videos and it still last 6 to 7 hours. See the two battery tests result, your formula is completely not applicable.
I think you're missing my point here I'm not saying that my formula is right by any means heck it's not even my formula it's Google's. I'm just saying according to what I learned from Google about their Chromebooks is the calculation I ran is ONE way you could estimate the battery life and based on the fact that you're telling me that it lasted six to seven hours that's the same estimation I came up with so you and I are on the same page as far as expected battery life. Keep in mind no manufacturer will ever define the "average person" or "average usage" and it clearly appears you and I both understand that so again we're on the same page.
Is this a refurbished device? When was this specofic Pixelbook manufactured?
Hi,
Would you happen to know if the device has any manufacturer's warranty left?
Warranty need proof of purchase, I don' t have it, but the Pixelbook is like new with only 3 battery cycles.
can you throw in a pen on this one?
