It is the Unlocked unit, so if Verizon accepts Unlocked smart devices it will. I don't know if there is a site where I can enter the IMEI to confirm.

Thanks for the site John. Verizon says "Unfortunately, we can't add your Apple Watch to your account with this method.You'll have to go into the Apple Watch App on your iPhone to activate this watch on the Verizon Network."

Looks like I will need to go to a Verizon store or something to confirm activation possibility. I don't see why it can't be done, as this is the US Unlocked LTE variant.

I just spoke with Verizon via phone call. They were unable to get the device activated on their end also. The web portal states the device isn't compatible with Verizon's network. Thanks for following up.
