Well Swappa will always charge tax trust me. Google search Facebook Marketplace, select Houston and distance from, apply and search Redmagic 5G. I saw one there for around this price with PayPal, no taxes.

I've already got cash offers higher than your desired price although I don't know your tax rate. Let me know your tax rate and I'll tell you if Swappa is possible. You should really read all the posts here...

If anyone wanted to know to be 100% sure ..I just bought one from Matt and the Chinese version will be able to be switch to global I asked red magic. And I am on TMobile USA and I get 5g everywhere were I live. Plus matts a great seller as well. Good luck guys. Stay safe with all that's going on.

Awesome to hear Charles I finally have one myself now, they haven't added the 5G yet though they acquired from Sprint in Houston unfortunately but my provider (Mint) said they estimate a month or two. This phone flies and stays cool with the near silent fan!!! This listing actually already sold on eBay BTW they just haven't paid yet, so I haven't taken it down.

Also nearly "sold" on Facebook Marketplace / Houston Texas / Red Magic 5G Houston my personal 12gb/256gb - the guy is bringing cash tomorrow afternoon, I only used it for a day $850 had to return to stock as I unlocked the bootloader, loaded TWRP and Magisk.

Tax laws really hurting buyers, Swappa, and online resellers. It's already double taxation. The eBay buyer hasn't responded or paid yet so as far as I'm concerned, this post is still active!!! Jesus why did PayPal change their policy Buy it Now used to require immediate payment... Now it's 48 hours.

Sold to a non-tech guy on Facebook Marketplace cash much cheaper than here (sorry Swappa users, not your fault Swappa has to collect tax). I didn't think I needed to ADVISE people that CHINESE PHONES don't just come with Google PlayStore or services installed. It's banned in China. So to install it you need to have some technical skills. I was able to install all Google Store apps without root and make it look Global, I just didn't get time to get Google Playstore App working as I didn't mess with it very long. But there is already a solution and the buyer is able to use Google Playstore. It's quite simple actually: I read on XDA that people are using the Playstore no problem just doing this: Go to Settings / Other Accounts / Add Account / Add your Google Account. Now download the Google Playstore APK from the APK Mirror App and GO. Others said you can also just install Google Playstore APK 19.3.26 and it works. You don't need to flash a Global ROM - you can already be Global

Apparently the same Facebook Marketplace buyer was so happy that I helped him fix the Google Playstore issue he voluntarily paid me an extra $70 for the phone! The seal on this is open (sorry) it's still new open-box. I dropped the price by $50 it's still brand new.

NOTE: due to eBay rules the non-paying buyer of the phone has 6 days to pay, that's 4 more left, or I get charged a $100 "sale" fee from eBay. So this isn't shipping until the 17th at the earliest.
