Have you try using it with a different carrier to be 100% sure it’s unlocked?

I did not try using it, but we purchased the phone from metro by tmobile & used it for the time it said you had to before it was allowed to be unlocked. After that time, I called them and requested the phone be unlocked. I gave them the IMEI # and they confirmed the line was unlocked. We switched the phone # to a different device after it was unlocked. So it should be unlocked and ready to go. What carrier are you trying to use it on? I could try putting the IMEI # on that carrier and confirm it will work. Thanks!

Att, Would you refund if I buy it and it’s not unlocked?

I put the IMEI into att imei checker and it takes me to setup a line and pick a plan after I do, so I assume that means its ok to use. It wants me to setup a new line.

I've never had to deal w/ returns on swappa. I don't know if there is a legit way to go about returns if it would be needed. I'd really prefer to avoid that because we'd both lose on shipping charges.

I am at work right now so I can't dig in too much right now, but I searched ebay for A1660 metro unlocked and a lot of the listings say AT&T as well. Being both phones are gsm based signals, I don't see why it would be an issue though.

If you feel uncomfortable buying it, I'd regretfully say you may want to avoid purchasing it just in case. Thanks for your interest.
