Please confirm this device has no dings, dents, or scratches. From your description, I assume the item is mint except for the dBrand skin and would continue to be so if the skin was removed. I appreciate your help - Ben.

- Dec 03, 2019 - 01:48 PM

Ben, the device is indeed in mint condition but i cannot list is as such due to the DBrand skin.

Feel free to inspect the photos, I tried to take detailed pictures of all sides of the device to show the condition of the device. The area that is most prone to get scratched/discoloured on the 2019 Blade Stealths are the charging ports. Please inspect the side pictures to see that there is no wear whatsoever on this device.

If you would like additional pictures of different angles of the device etc, please let me know.

Faust - I appreciate the quick response. I'm of course, most concerned about the top/lid of the laptop as it is not visible with the skin on. That being said, I'm familiar with dBrand skins and know that they can be removed without causing damage. Just to confirm - the skin has been on since day 1 and you would not expect there to be any damage to the lid?

- Dec 03, 2019 - 02:58 PM

Ben,

Yes, the skin was applied right away to protect the lid. It is the titanium DBrand skin. I would link it but i believe it's against swappa policies but a quick google search will show you exactly what it looks like.

Willing to go to 1500?

- Dec 14, 2019 - 11:48 AM

@James, price reduced.

- Dec 19, 2019 - 05:08 PM

Hi, new units are currently 1499. Would you consider 1300, immediate payment?

- Dec 19, 2019 - 05:53 PM

I can do $1435 as this is like new. You save tax and get a free DBrand skin

- Dec 19, 2019 - 06:41 PM

Thank you, appreciate the quick response. Sorry we couldn't meet on a price.

- Dec 25, 2019 - 06:49 AM

$1350?

- Dec 28, 2019 - 06:08 PM

$1375?

- Jan 02, 2020 - 07:11 AM

Willing to do 1400 with payment today? Thanks for all the great information!

- Jan 02, 2020 - 07:30 AM

No sorry. The razer promotion will end soon and price will go back up to $1799 new.

Currently you save on tax and get a free DBrand skin with the purchase.

Thanks so much...how have you found performance on this machine? Do you do much photo/video editing? Sorry to ask about specific use cases, trying to decide between this and another machine for productivity work and photo/video edits. Super interested, thanks!

- Jan 02, 2020 - 08:37 AM

Benjamin,

I have not done any photo or video editing unfortunately so I cannot speak to it's performance. Though from numerous youtube videos that I have watched prior to purchasing the laptop, it had very good reviews and thermal performance. Though I do know that it has pretty good color accuracy.
I suggest looking for comparisons between this device and the other machine you are interested in, in order to see which is better at whatever software you use for your work.

Though as far as I know, there is no other 13" laptop with this form factor that has a dedicated GPU as powerful as this one for on-the-go editing. If more power is needed, you can always add in an external GPU via TB3 and then the performance will rival desktop machines!

I have played some R6:Siege and ran some stress tests and it never got above 66 Degrees C. This was with stock settings.

Feel free to ask any other questions.

- Jan 02, 2020 - 09:02 AM

Thank you so much for taking the time for this. I am switching from the Apple ecosystem and am relatively new to the windows world and the offerings. I think this may suit my workflow nicely and adds a lot of extra power versus something like the surface laptop 3 or going to a larger form factor like a ThinkPad x1 extreme.

Does this machine have Win 10 Pro or Home on it? Final question, if I bought it today, would you be willing to 1435? I am just north of you in MI so hopefully, shipping wouldn't be that expensive. Thank you again for your thoughtful reply.

- Jan 02, 2020 - 09:07 AM

Also quick question; in the pictures, it looks like the earlier model where the bezel below the screen is plastic. In the late 2019 model didn't they change this to glass?

- Jan 02, 2020 - 09:38 AM

Benjamin,

It currently is running Win 10 Home. Though I am certain upgrading it to Win 10 Pro is a breeze, without any data loss.

And I cannot ship the laptop until January 10th so if it is not sold until then and the razer sale is still ongoing, I will lower the price.

About your bezel question, I am not entirely sure of what you mean by the bezel below the screen. However, I can tell you that the bezel below the screen is made of the same material as the rest of the bezel. It does not feel like plastic, but it is not the glossy finish material like the 4K model either. I think it is aluminium but I am not 100% sure.

- Jan 02, 2020 - 10:12 AM

Sounds great, I will just wait until the 10th and we can chat unless it has already been purchased.

- Jan 09, 2020 - 09:57 AM

Hi Faust,

Razer sale is still happening...are you still willing to lower the price a bit?

Jan 10, 2020 - 09:04 PM

Any issues with this unit? How's the coil wine?

- Jan 11, 2020 - 08:44 AM

Kelvin,

There is no issues or coil whine as far as I can tell.

Benjamin,

I’ve lowered the price a little bit. I know it’s not much compared to the sale price but I believe it’s still a good deal considering it’s in like new condition with no flaws whatsoever. Save on tax and get a free DBrsnd skin to protect this beautiful machine.

- Jan 11, 2020 - 10:37 AM

Thanks for the update Faust, last question: what has been the battery life been for you on this machine?

- Jan 11, 2020 - 10:59 AM

I have not timed it but Windows predicts more than 10 hours at 99% battery left

- Jan 11, 2020 - 11:25 AM

Thanks Faust...who do you use for shipping?

- Jan 11, 2020 - 11:34 AM

I usually use USPS Priority 2-3 Day shipping. Do you have a preference?

- Jan 12, 2020 - 08:25 PM

$91 in taxes for me. I think swappa charges tax on all listings now, just an FYI. Good luck with sale.

- Jan 13, 2020 - 07:29 AM

I'd also do 1300 since it's 1499 new. I'm pretty sure swappa charges tax for all listings now.

- Jan 13, 2020 - 08:00 AM

Billy,

I’m unfamiliar with swappa charging tax. Is that to all purchases or only to purchases that are in-state?

And I’m sorry but $1300 is too low. I’m sure the holiday sale at Razer will end soon and I’m in no rush to sell.

Thanks.

- Jan 13, 2020 - 08:13 AM

Before 2020 I was only required to pay tax for in state but since the new year all swappa and eBay listings are charging tax. I'd say a new law went into effect.

- Jan 13, 2020 - 09:05 AM

That's a shame. Thank for the information Billy

- Jan 13, 2020 - 09:07 AM

Yep. It's all good. It might just be a new Illinois thing.

- Jan 14, 2020 - 10:43 AM

There’s tax on all items now.

Take $1395?

- Jan 14, 2020 - 11:09 AM

Justin,

Price adjusted accordingly.
Damn taxes.

- Jan 29, 2020 - 10:51 AM

Would you be able to do $1250?

- Jan 29, 2020 - 11:13 AM

Sorry, $1250 is too low. Though, I did lower the price.

- Jan 29, 2020 - 11:19 AM

Thanks anyways

- Jan 29, 2020 - 09:48 PM

Hi Faust,

Has this unit ever been opened? Completely original still?

- Jan 30, 2020 - 07:08 AM

Diversion,

No, never opened or modified in any way.
This unit is completely original, never opened.
