This phone has had the boot-loader unlocked using the official Motorola request form. I have installed the latest version of the Pixel Experience Android 9/Pie ROM. Being a custom rom there may be features that do not work properly. Buyers are expected to be familiar with changing ROMs if there is something about this one that doesn't suit you.
The hardware is in good shape for it's age. No noticeable scratches on screen. There is a small chip/ding in the lower left front corner probably from being dropped.

What do you mean by rooted
The bootloader has been unlocked, and a custom rom has been loaded. This is unsigned software, not from Motorola.
If you really have no idea about Root access on Android or flashing custom roms then you should not buy this phone. Go buy one that is still bootloader locked running Motorola's signed ROM.
