Was it purchased directly from Verizon? as the 60 days unlock policy ends after activation. Where as if purchased for partner or Apple directly then 60 days unlock policy ends after purchase date. So just want to confirm where was it purchased from to asses which policy applies

Aren’t all carrier handsets paid in full at the Apple Store unlocked? That’s what it says on Apple’s website. What am I missing. Extremely interested in this unit.

Maybe I misunderstood Verizon's policy then. I was told after 60 days of purchase that the Verizon locked phone could be used with any carrier after. If you already have Verizon, then this phone will work immediately upon activation.

This is an Apple store policy. Verizon in store policy varies. When you pay in full for an iPhone at an Applestore regardless of carrier, it is considered unlocked. Unfortunately I’m not on Verizon. That’s why I asked. I know if you buy in a Verizon store and pay in full that it is tied to Verizon for 60 days. following activation.
